My Call
I first felt the call to ministry when I was in the sixth grade. Discovering Christian radio changed my life. The biblical concepts and the Scripture shared in the songs all led me into a growing, intimate relationship with God. As I developed my musical and leadership abilities, I realized that God had gifted me so that I could serve others and proclaim the good news of the Gospel to others. This continued through high school when I had the opportunity to lead worship at my church and other local churches. I also was given the opportunity to lead occasional chapel services at my Christian high school. Through this, I grew in my leadership and organizational skills.
From there, I attended Cedarville University where daily chapels, classes in the Bible & worship, and my time with Resonance (a traveling praise band) all contributed to my spiritual growth and understanding of worship. I also served at a church plant where I was given more opportunities to lead. These experiences paired with my time growing up in the highly liturgical, sacramental Lutheran church helped me to flesh out my worship beliefs and practices.
Since my time at Cedarville, I have been blessed to serve at Coopersville Reformed Church and in my current location, Bethlehem Lutheran Church & School. At Bethlehem I regularly lead musical worship and assist with liturgy. I also plan and lead weekly chapel services for our school. At the encouragement of friends, family, and my congregation, I began seminary classes in May of 2023 at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. While I continue in my current role as a Worship Arts Leader, I feel God is calling me to transition into full-time ministry of the Word and Sacrament. I eagerly await whatever God has in store and am grateful for the God's continual leading and provision.

My Confession
I hold firmly to Christian orthodoxy as taught in the creeds (Apostles', Nicene, & Athanasian). We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. I believe in the inerrancy of Scripture including a literal six-day view of Creation; the entirety of the Bible is God's Word. I believe that God has uniquely designed men and women to complement each other, therefore I believe biblical marriage is between one man and one woman.
As Christians, we are free to disagree on minor issues, but we disagree in a loving way and still are able to work together as the body of Christ. We affirm together that there is "one Lord, one faith, one Baptism, one God and Father of us all." (Eph. 4) and seek the furtherance of God's Kingdom on earth.
